A meal at  Jessica’s Restaurant is always memorable. The  updated dining room is a reflection of the casual comfort and style of this New England country inn.  Winter is here and mud season just around the corner,  the fireplaces are ablaze and atmosphere warm and friendly!  Jessica’s is open Thursday-Sunday, and will also be open on Wednesdays starting in April

Jessica’s Restaurant is located in the Swift House Inn in Middlebury, Vermont. Jessica’s is just two blocks from downtown Middlebury, set in an 1814 stately home, surrounded by beautiful lawns and gardens. Jessica’s casual atmosphere is the perfect place for an dinner for two, or a celebratory dinner for four to forty!

Come early and enjoy our bar; Tom, with his more than 30 years of bartending experience, can fix you a cocktail or help you choose the right bottle of wine. We have won the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence for our wine list for seven straight years! We also have local beers on tap including Switchback, from Southern Vermont; and two brews from Middlebury, Wolaver’s Organic India Pale Ale and Otter Creek Winter Ale.

We have partnered with Vermont farms to provide the guests with fresh, local food. In the summer and fall we use  herbs from our garden. We plant in raised beds, which are easier to maintain and add some eye appeal to these gardens. Many guests will stroll around our gardens before or after dinner.

In late 2010 we added a deck onto our dining room. It is open from the first warm day in May until the last day of Indian summer in October. We have such a short summer, so New Englanders love to be outside as much as they can be! Guests can have a drink or dinner on the deck.   Although currently covered in snow we know deck season is just a few weeks away.
